Sharon Stone has praised single mothers and insists it is an "amazing accomplishment" to raise children alone.
The single actress - who has three children all under seven - admits it is hard work to care a family on your own, but ultimately worth it.
Sharon told PEOPLE magazine: "The most surprising part of being a mom is that I can actually accomplish it all every day. And get them all under the blankets every night."
The 49-year-old star has three adopted sons - Roan, six, Laird, who is almost two, and 10-month-old Quinn.
Sharon's sister Kelly, 46 - who co-hosted a prom-themed charity gala with Sharon on Saturday - also praised her sibling's parenting skills.
Kelly said: "She's a great mama. I was there the other day when they were going to bed and they were so cute. I said to her, 'I don't know how you do it.' I always thought that I would want to be the mom, but I just think now Sharon is such a great mom, and I could never do it."
Proceeds from Saturday's charity event, which took place in California, will go towards helping underprivileged teenagers buy dresses and tuxedos for their prom nights.
